  • The standard BMI (body mass index) measurement works on an ideal number range of 20-25. Therefore according to this scale you should be in the range 55kg to 69 kg, with an average of 62kg. However all this depends upon how you look (where the weight is distributed), how you feel, and how healthy you are. Inevitably a lot of fuss about weight untliamtely has to do with self esteem or sex. If you have a quality sex life (and by that I don't mean into bed with a new partner every two minutes) then the chances are you look ok and feel ok! Conversely if your sex life is non-existent that might have nothing to do with your physical make-up, it might be your attitude, so "perfect" weight and appearance aren't the cure-all for all ills! Make the most of yourself and look after yourself - after all when it comes down to the final analysis you are the only one you can truly count on.
