Why cant I launch Oblivion, installed just fine, hardware meets reqs. when I click on play I get a message that the game failed to launch. Thanx for any pointers.

Try reinstalling the game, if your running vista trying running it in compatibility mode with admin rights. If that doesen't work you can try updating your drivers too or try checking forums to see if other people have the problem http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/ Also try patching the game, that usually solves most problems
