Sounds like stress, but you can probably get a presription from your vet. My old dog has a people account at Walmart for an anti hyper type drug because she keeps chewing her foot apart. It was only $11 for the prescription

Sometimes when you bring in new cats, the problem is sharing the litter box. Some cats simply refuse to share a litter box. Try putting out one or two more, and see if that helps. Good luck!
