I rate the answers up most of the time. If they are not quite what I was looking for I dont rate at all. I dont downrate unless I think the answer is offensive.

I rate the useful ones useful. I rate any really bad, completely 'not useful' ones 'not useful'. I flag any nonsense or spam or offensive answers. If an answer is not good, but not completely "not useful", I just leave it with no points either way.

I rate each and all - I go out of my way in hopes not to miss anyone - I alway's rate to the good and if a question was answered,with a smart butt comment , I say something like - Having a bad day are we ? And get good response's back ---- Good Question

I rate the answers useful when applicable, leave them alone if they are not offensive or nonsense, I only rate down when absolutely called for (i.e., nonsense or offensive). If the answer is factually incorrect, I will leave a comment and give the person an oppotunity to correct the answer, plead mea culpa, or just to alert others that it is inaccurate.

Yes I always rate the answers and I don't think I have ever downrated one
