  • I'd complain again, or call the police. I have no sympathy for selfish, rude people.
  • Sounds like you solved the problem. I'd do what you did. I hope they do get put out. Sounds like they richly deserve it;)
  • Complain again! (Thats just me though)
  • They need to learn a lesson. I would leave them a note. Tell them that "I don't want to, but if the music problem happens one more time I will report you again. And we all know what that means. It's your choice. Play music at reasonable volume and stay. Play it loud and you move".
  • Record it, then replay it at full volume in the morning while you're out. Send a copy to your super so they'll know you aren't exaggerating the problem.
  • Old old Country Western music at full volume at 5:35 AM.
  • I had a problem like this and I called the cops until they got the neighbors to turn it down. When they started up again (a few days later) I filed a complaint against them in court.
  • I need to add that if you decide to file a complaint against them in court first: 1. Make sure you tell your landlord and get papers from him to that effect. (How long this has been going on & if they stopped for any period of time; when they started again; how long the music was played & what time) 2. Get neighbors to sign a paper stating what is going on if possible. 3. Get a cam corder and tape them for a few weeks. 4. Do call the police and get a copy of the reports. When you file the paper in court they will be notified so be prepared to continue to video them in case they start doing something to you or your possessions.
  • I saved a bunch of my parents old records like Fiddler on the roof, Perry Como, etc, put both speakers against their wall and cranked them up REAL loud when i knew they were trying to sleep and just kept it up till they got the hint.. Find the most annoying music you can find and do that.. They'll quit eventually.
  • I hate to say it, but this is a fine example of why we have laws, rules, etc. My suggestion is to complain, file police report, and find out if we still have authorities that are willing to enforce these laws, and rules. I would love to know if we do, because I am betting we don't anymore. If you have success, please let me know, it would help restore some of my faith in our messed up system.
