Yes as a soldier along with my comrades one of which whilst wearing his BPV was shot through the front top quadrant and exiting through the rear lower quadrant......Bullet proof? Don't make me laugh :o)

Yes, I wear one 5, sometimes 6 days a week. It isn't bad during the winter, and helps conserve on body heat. In the summer, it's a completely different story. It's hot, sticky, wet, and heavy. Our vests on the outside of our uniforms, but underneath of plain clothes. They are difficult to get used to, but necessary to have.

Yes on the range in the army. Well, it was a flak jacket to be precise, shooting live rounds in the bush. I heard it wouldn't even stop a real bullet, but hey, makes you feel safe anyways.
