improvise a new vase, or put it in a small pail :P or thinking crazy ask the person who keep giving you flowers to include a pot for it :p
-
Recycle one of you glass jars - like a Mason jar.
-
That is a nice problem to have. Get some more vases. Stop by the local Goodwill or neighborhood thrift store. They sell them for less than a dollar. You can get a good vase at a dollar store too.
-
I would run to the dollar store near by and pick up another vase, or maybe clean out a jar i have around the house and use that.
-
give the flowers out to people , be kind spread cheer
-
Take an empty, label-less 2 liter bottle, cut off as much as I need from the top and I have another vase.
-
In all my 29 years I have gotting flowers 3 times. I do not see this as a problem for me lol But if I had large glass cups or something I would use those
-
Pull out the pasta glass jar and use that.

First, I would combine as many flowers as I could into the vases that I do have. Then I would use the pitchers I have in my cupboard (the ones I keep around for juice, water, or margaritas!). Then, I might cut a few shorter and make smaller arrangements using water glasses. If I still had too many flowers, I would walk next door and give some to my friend. Or bring some to my sister or mom's house. Then, I would bring some flowers to work (we have a few vases here for some reason...) and display them here. If the flowers aren't through arriving by now, I guess I'd have to buy some cheap vases at the thrift shop or the dollar store.

Make potpourri.
-
Get out mugs, glasses, bottles, anything that will hold water and improvise before going to the pound shop round the cornor from me and buying some cheap vases
-
Get a tall tumbler or jar and use that instead.

My first instinct would be to go out and purchase a couple more vases...but if you're feeling lazy and dont feel like walking or anything, do a kind act, give some flowers to your neighbors...what can you loose. you can also take the remaining flowers for your use. i mean take all the petals and take a nice bath with it....it is very relaxing and the smell is great.
-
Chuck the flowers away as they are cut flowers and will die anyway.
-
Put them in a big drinking glass.

Take a bucket, add some water, and stash 'm. When recieving guests, there's hardly time to unpack and arrange the flowers in separate vases. In a few months, I'll become 40 years old...I have forbidden my friends to bring ANY gifts. Walking canes, rollators, incontinent diapers, I'm familiar with their stupid jokes.

Find some large bowls and create some lovely centerpieces. I once was asked to do a unique centerpiece for a retirement party for a contractor. I took one of those flat paint-roller pans, found some old chickenwire fencing (old garages like mine have lots of stuff like that) secured that inside the pan and cut the flowers to fit and made a crowd pleasing display for the buffet table. If you have a lot of flowers to display (I wish I had such a problem.) I've done something nice with the large ice cream buckets. Cover the outside of the bucket with foil and tie some nice ribbon around the top edge and create a nice bow. Then make a generous attractive arrangement that would look great in the living room or kitchen. Have fun and be creative...the secrets of the trade.

Cut off the heads at about one inch of stem and float them in bowls of water. Give some to a friend. Dry some.
