  • I have been to ONE college reunion since I graduated, and NONE of the high school reunions.
  • wouldn't you like to see how your old schoolmates are doing in life? who died and who got rich and who turned into a fat cow?
  • I have never been to a high school reunion...Some of my close friends from high school stilll live near me and I do see them... :)
  • We never know what will happend, if you have a positive thought, things normally turns out wonderfull. Who knows you'll find something surprising and wonderfull.
  • I agree. Well i'm sure no one has anything in common... because if you did, then you would still probably keep in touch with the person/people.
  • What about funerals? If you don't go to their funeral, they won't go to your funeral.
  • I dont do school reunions....but I still go to family reunions.
  • Shrinkess, I felt that way for awhile too. But I just got together with 3 friends whom I hadn't seen in 40 years! It was amazing to see how the common memories we shared made us feel just like the "old days". We have all pursued different roads in life, but our core friendship was still there! It was wonderful!!
  • How could you possibly know that my friend if you don't bother to find out who they are now? Are you the same person you were in high school? You might be quite surprised and pleased. I went to my 25th high school reunion and renewed acquaintances with some friends. It was lovely. Some of our advisors were there as well, believe it or not..it was lovely. I think you are cheating yourself of something that could quite possibly become a wonderful memory. You know the saying, "nothing ventured, nothing gained". Why not venture the next time and see what happens? :)
  • I just started back to reunions of family and school mates after about 40 years of ignoring them. Sharing memories and old times is really fun. Finding out what they have done with their lives is interesting.
