I just turned 20 and a girl I'm interested will be 17 in June. Ignoring the whole "under 18 is illegal" stuff, Im no looking for anything like that, is this ok? She seems so perfect.

if your not going to have sex until she is 18 then whats the problem. there is a 5 year gap with me and my husband, age means nothing, if you like each other and want to be together dont let a 3 year age gap get in the way.

There is nothing wrong with the age gap. The biggest problem in relationship is rushing in without building a good strong bond. There is no hurry to be a couple at any age regardless how perfect it may sound or look. People have their issues that should be all out on the table. An openness a understanding and trust should be there before the relationship should start.

That age gap isnt bad. In fact I dated a guy who was 10 years older than me. And depending on where you are (from another one of your posts I assume Alaska) The consent laws are from 16-18. Alaska last time I checked was 16. So even it you did end up having sex (unless she has overbearing parents who accuse you of forcing her) you wont be breaking any laws. But before you do make sure you get to know her really well and have a solid relationship. :D And be protected. Haha best of luck to you.
