  • Nothing anymore. I've gotten so allergic to wheat and soy that I daren't bake much of anything. Back when I could bake, I baked wonderful oat/wheat bread, passable pies with scratch crust and I have a kick-butt chocolate pound cake recipe. I still bake a cookie recipe called Salt Cookies that goes back four generations in my family that I know of, and I'm teaching it to the fifth. It might go back even farther as the leavening is soda in vinegar and Cream of Tartar, and that goes well back into the 1800s. And I baked Moravian Sugar Cakes. I still do a little baking, but I have to use a mixer with dough hooks and my husband has to handle the dough, especially if it has shortening in it. I'm that allergic to soy that I can't touch anything with shortening in it without my hands swelling.

Add water gradually. Bring to a boil, add blueberries and cook 3 or 4 minutes until clear and thickened, stirring constantly but carefully to prevent berries from crushing. Remove from heat, add lemon juice. (2) White chocolate cream 2 ounces good-quality white chocolate (such as Lindt or Baker's), chopped 2 tablespoons plus 1/2 cup chilled whipping cream Combine chopped white chocolate and 2 tablespoons whipping cream in small metal bowl. Beat remaining 1/2 cup chilled whipping cream in medium bowl until soft peaks form. Fold in white chocolate mixture. (3) whipped cream 1 cup heavy cream 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar In a large bowl, whip cream until stiff peaks are just about to form. • Kishka! Err'body loves it. Here's the recipe: First you prepare some liver flavored pudding, this is hard to find in some grocery outlets but you can order it from AMAZONNNN! Next you add whipped cream to about half a gallon of apple juice. Mix this until it's a milky color... it will of course be sort of yellow. A lot like urine. After that has been frozen into ice cubes you put them into a blender with six cups of the pudding. Blend this until it's super smooooth. Now for the dumplings! Just buy wonton wrappers and squish them up in your hands so it's a big ball of dough again, then you form them into CIRCLES (remember they were squares when you started) THIS IS CRUCIAL! and the diameter must be 3.1 inches. Now you put the smooth pudding and ice mixture onto the wrapper (CIRCULAR!) Wrap them up like burritos, line them up in a baking pan and sprinkle them with powdered sugar and paprika and if you'd like you could give them a little squeeze of lemon juice. Sometimes I use limes though. Bake them for twelve hours (yes I know that's a long time, it's so worth it though!) at 156 degrees f. Fresh out of the oven you have to put on the chopped up asparagus. VIOLA! That's pronounced Vee-ole-ah If you want the full effect, you have to SCREAM this after your first bite! this is a recipe that has been passed on in my family for so many generations, you're lucky i'm sharing it with you. ):
