Uninstall explorer 7 from the control panel. I had to do the same thing.

You probably have IE5 on the discs to restore your system. I want mine back too.
-
just go to add/remove and uninstall IE7, it should automatically revert to IE6 SP2. If it warns about programs installed after it, just ignore it.. and continue.. :)

I don't think you can back your IE6. I suggest you try Mozilla FireFox. This browser rocks!

Ok.. first off, you really don't want it back. you really really don't. IE6 and lower is junk software, it's just that you are used to it. It's insecure, has pretty bad performance, prone to crashing, and soon to be not supported at all by microsoft. The world is moving on past IE6, I highly highly suggest you move along with it. If you don't like IE7, try one of the other browsers out there. They are free and the feature sets on them are pretty amazing. It takes a bit to get used to any new piece of software, give it some time. The two biggest competitors to IE (and my personal recommendations) Firefox: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ Opera: http://www.opera.com/
