Has anyone ever hated being a teenager? I hated being one because of high school.

yes. and i hated the years up to being a teenager. being unfairly deemed "the boogar lady" for three years tends to do that.

hell no. Being a teenager is the best job you can ever have.

It was tough until I figured out that I didn't have to prove anything to anyone, be anything that I was not, or portray any particular image - AND that everyone, no matter how secure they seemed, was struggling with the same issues, insecurities, doubts, questions, and fears as I was.

it was tough and I had a lot of friends. I know we mature as we get older and accept people more or less for who they are. Not so in high school. If you drove a great car or played sports you were in.
