In the case of shared or proxy servers, there can be one address for multiple computers. It does enable you to identify where a message has come from. Ip adresses are the i dentification of your systems. The network identifies your syatem through the ip (internet protocol). As a student is identified in the university exam by his roll number or registration number so is the system in the world wide web. it enables data transfer process. ip are of two types i . static ii. dhcp-dynamic host control protocol. static is one time given to the system and does not change. where as dhcp keeps on changing from time to time.

i have been getting some very very bad emails from some one that knows me and some things about me and they have said many bad things about my family 123.188.91.15 123.188.66.184 123.188.85.52 123.188.89.75 123.188.70.182 this is some of the IP i have got from the emails as i live in china but i am from Australia i can not do any things about this as they have never got money from me and they have never try to hurt my body in any way they are smart just to say things about me they have got from a girl i had date over 2 years ago, this all start as i help a friend from being cheated from other chinese girls. i hope some one can help or if you like to play with the IP do your best
