My daughter is 8 and wants astronomy in her room what color should i paint so that her stars and moon and planets are complemented?

Probably a nice royal blue, so it's not too dark and overpowering.

i've done this to my room when i was younger, i loved it! the base color shouldn't be too dark, or it will make her room seem dreary, try with a blueish color for the base, but adding other colors into it in empty spaces where there are no planets to brighten in up, kindof like a sunset, your planets should be brighter and distinct, but dont go too bright because than she may lay there at night and be distracted by them. good luck!

I too suggest a darkish blue. Not a real dark navy, but a blue so that it still looks like a normal room in the light, but that looks like black when the lights are out.
