  • hellz no
  • No, I don't think so. Youths are always either on the PC or gaming, or watching tv... Well I can't talk because I think I should get out more :D But still, I think a game of soccer could never hurt anyone :)
  • I do not think so. In MY day (prepare for old guy rant... those always start out with "in MY day") we were encouraged to get out, we did not have all the fancy indoor activities that young folks have now, and, yes, we spent a lot of time playing outside. Indoors was pretty boring. We did not have much on the television (pre cable, you know) and there were no video games until the advent of Pong in the mid to late 70's. We also had books and that kept me inside more than most kids because I loved, and still love, to read. However, if I was reading too much my father kicked me out for the afternoon to go play. Today's youth have the internet, a kazillion channels on TV, all too frequently parents who allow them to live their lives there. So, no, they do not get enough time outdoors. Oh, I forgot to say last night... welcome to AB. I think you shall fit in well here.
  • No, they don't. I think that there are too many excuses these days. From newest technologies to video games and general laziness, it is a shame. Children need fresh air and exercise, and it doesn't seem to be a priority anymore.
