A lot of ABers pay no attention to category in the context of how they answer a question. Sometimes it doesn't matter, sometimes it makes a profound difference in the validity of the response.
-
I often do not consider the category because I'm focused on the question. I have made this mistake but not on this type of question.
-
Perhaps they know the answer to the questions, I have to admit I do not look at what category it is in, most times.

Two reasons:1.Probably he hasn't noticed the category properly. But the more fitting would be the 2nd reason, I think. 2.Judaism is related to Christianity in origin. It was Yah-weh in the beginning, the Father. He sent his son, Jesus to the earth as Messiah, whom the Jude rejected. So, here came the separation. The Jude still considered Yah-weh as their God, and till date expecting that Messiah is yet to come. But as per Christianity, Jesus is the Messiah, who had already come and now we have holy spirit with us. That completes another big subject, trinity. So since the origin was common for both Judaism and Christianity, in many cases, they share common reference. But I think in the new testament, only the first four books-Matthew, mark, Luke and John and also Acts to some extent can provide some common references to both Christianity and Judaism. The scriptures by Paul and other disciples written as letters to the early churches(ie, from Romans to Revelation in new testament), I don't think, will provide any much common thing between both religions.
