  • Stop buying them.
  • I make myself go outside to smoke. Right now it's 10 outside. It's just will power. I limit myself to 2 packs a week. If they are gone, I just won't buy anymore 'til the middle of the week.
  • There are many reasons people will give you in advertising etc. But the bottom line is will power. If you do not want to cut down it will not happen.
  • try something chewable as a replacement
  • From one who smokes 3 packs a day...the value of my counsel would be substantially limited. :-)
  • I have cut back significantly by making myself wait an extra ten minutes when I want one. I've seen it work for others as well. Whenever you want one, just wait ten more minutes, you don't have to tell yourself "No," instead you get to say "Just a moment, sexy." That works much better.
