  • My friends and I went to Taiwan in 1996. We went there to stay a few days after our tour to USA. I have nothing but good and sweet impressions about Taiwan. We met Pastor Paul in USA and he arranged with his sister to pick us at the airport, checked us into the hotel in Taoyuan as well as organizing a 3-day tour of Taipei and its surrounding cities. My deepest impression was this. Pastor Paul's sister cooked dinner for us on the day of our arrival and requested her maid to entertain us whilst she had a family emergency to attend to. So deep was my first impression of Taiwan that I went for a second visit. Only this time I went for a tour of the whole island. I do not rule out the possibility of going to Taiwan for my third visit, perhaps with my wife this time.
  • Formosa, a no no when it comes to buy electronics!
