Yes and even a boater sometimes.

Yes I did. I believe in it too for two main reasons.
1. then there is no pressure from peers on wearing different clothing.
2. Cheaper to furnish school clothing instead of other high street clothing.
Yes, most schools in australia do if not all. I recon uniforms are alot better.
I went to a Catholic school till the 3rd grade, and we had to wear uniforms. I went to public schools after that though....
Many years in Catholic schools, not bad we all look good in Navy
Yes, I did, from the age of four when I started primary school until I was 17 and left school.
No thank god
No.
Yes I did. The picture is from the school that I use to attend and shows the uniform that I had to wear. We had to wear shorts from the age of 4-13 and then we wore long pants from 14-18.

Yes, I used to have to wear a school uniform when I was in secondary school. Also, we had to wear a tie.
(seriously) A coat & tie for twelve years!
[But it did teach me a whole lota respect for my fellow man. Now f*ck off!]
;-)
Only during a band or sports game. Thank Goodness it was not like your asking tho. For I would not of never been one to wear them everyday.
Thankfully NO.
I studied in a municipal school. Those days, early 1960s, they did not insist on Uniforms.
Nowadays they do though.
And the Government supplies the Uniforms and books free to students in Government run schools in my State Tamil Nadu, India.
Yes. Long socks or trousers. Tie, Blazer in winter, a shirt. All school issued - and all marked up by the school because you couldn't buy them anywhere else.
Day. Light. Robbery.
Nope.
Yes all through my school years (50's) whatsmore we were kept in short trousers until we were thirteen!
I didn't, I often wore a shirt that showed the grave site of the Lizard King though.
yes, at boarding school, long ago
Yes, from 6th grade until senior year of high school.
Yes, we all did in our school.
When I was at middle school.
I'm afraid so.
No and never!
Yeah I went to an all girl's school and we had to wear a horrible gingham print blouse with navy skirt/trousers and a blazer. I was so glad when I got to the Sixth Form (British equivalent to the last two years of high school in the USA) and could wear my own clothes.
Yes. I went to a Catholic middle school, and we had uniforms. Plaid skirts, maroon vests, maroon/grey tights, not quite my style.
One week a month in 6th grade. I was a "patrol boy" and we had to wear a uniform.
sadly, yeah. its a lot worse because you spend a WHOLE lot more on uniforms than regular clothes
Yep - luckily they were nice onces - navy and white
I'm actually glad we had uniforms - saved having to pick out an outfit each day! :)
yep, catholic primary school - yellow and green :S yuk!
then my current school - black and red :)
No, but I acted like I did, because I wore the same thing everyday.
yes.. nursery to college..:)
Uniforms. By that no one can make fun of how each other dress.
I got out of school just before all that happened.
No. It was probable a good thing. We moved so many times my mom would have gone broke trying to keep up with the different uniforms.
No I did not have to wear a school uniform. +5
Nope, and hopefully never will.
Yes, in Puerto Rico, I wore them in grade school and high school.
Yes all through secondary school, dark grey blazer with a white shirt and horrible pleated skirt .. think i would proberbly get arrested if i wore it now though at 42 lol
Not I nor my children.
No, but I choose to for role play : )
Yes I did.
Nope, but I wish the barely there cheerleaders "uniforms" had to be longer, I hated them flashing us constantly and some didn't wear the underwear, its not cute for them to walk around in a bathing suit all day but my shorts had to be at my knees
Yes I had to wear School Uniform from the time I started school until I left.
No. And I think uniforms are bad at school because it's mandatory in many countries. Try to stop bullying and learn to accept each other instead of hiding the social classes within a uniform. At work, you have to accept it or can leave searching for another work so it's up to the employer. Worst are for live-in domestic workers, they have to always be in uniform. I have talked to some people who worked as live-in maid/nanny girls when they were young girls in their late teens/early 20's and one of the things they disliked the most were the uniforms (like white blouses and black skirts, white aprons and black high-healed shoes) the employers required the girls to wear.
When I lived in Puerto Rico, uniforms were required, even for public schools.
Yes, I did in grade school
When I went to school a long time ago all schools had uniforms, and wearing them was compulsory.
Nope, I haven't.
Ya....
I'm not in skool, but I do dress up like Hitler a few times a week, and scare the jews down the road.
