I must not speak out about Glorious Leader. He has eyes and ears everywhere. Yeah right. I think that the direction the US is heading is not only due to what Bush has done or not done. There has been a mental shakeup in someone who hangs out in the oval office, not to name names. Seems like there are quite a few that are sliding down the razor edge of insanity. First, we should not be puttering around with a 'War'. We should win decisively or not go in. War is not something you do bass ackwards. You are either in it all the way with clear and defined goals or you don't go in at all. Secondly, instead of admit that his intelligence gathering group is either incompetent or lied and admit that fact, he is charging on to beat a dead horse. Thirdly, he has said that he will not 'play ball' with anything Congress says. That is an example of someone not listening to the collective voices, rather it speaks volumes about someone that is as a child with a 'I'm gonna do what I want and you can't stop me' attitude that is not a wanted quality in a country's leader. Now for the fun part. Has Bush done anything wrong? Sure. Have you? (Not you Megan, but the US as a whole. The People.) You betcha. What are we doing wrong? We are sitting by and watching while politicians who are only out for themselves, do so at our expense. They should be run out of office now. You can put away your Democratic views and you can put away your Republican views and we should say with one voice that it is time for this insanity to stop. They are playing both parties against the middle and the majority of the American people are letting them. Why? Simple, people have become too lazy in their materialistic world. What does it matter what makes you mad as long as I can dangle another reality TV shows in your face or have a sale on big screen TVs? People gripe over this and that until they are placated with some mindless dribble, then they go back to their hohum lives until the next little bit of liberty is taken away from them. Then they gripe again and soon are placated and then it starts all over again. This should not be a question of 'What did Bush do wrong?' It should be 'What can we do right?' Just some thoughts and ideas for you to chew on.

of course but i think the question should be has he done anything right? well not pulling out of iraq is the right descision and not setting a time table is also right. going in was wrong. other than those couple of things he did right i think most every descision was wrong.

I have mixed feelings on this one. Going into Iraq and taking out Saddam was a good thing, but the reasons he gave us for going in in the first place (the WMD's) was either a deliberate lie or he was lied to and wanted the WMD's to be there. I think Bush has made mistakes like every human does, possibly more than his fair share. However I do think that his stance on 9/11 was right on and I shudder to think of how Gore would have handled it. I have a feeling he woulda been all 'we need to understand these people better, lets send them flowers and a card' or something. We probably would not be in Afghanastan hunting down Bin Laden or other terrorists.
