I have, not by choice... and it was NOT FUN. I was in severe pain and had to take medication to help me... and then that was NOT FUN either.

It can happen but it's very unhealthy keeping in what are actually things your body doesn't need or want anymore, even toxins and it can be really painful.

My friend has, she has MS and it is caused by an interruption of impulses to the brain that signal the need for a bowel movement. -
Yeah, especially if they are very constipated. I don't think it would turn out well. Even holding for 3 days is uncomfortable enough. Maybe if they were eating next to nothing, a person could not poop for a week or more.
