  • Check to make sure if your spark plugs are properly gapped or are in good condition. Also make sure your spark plug wires are in good condition as well as the distributor cap and rotor. Check to see if you're getting spark (I believe there's a tool for this that lights up but I just use a screwdriver and feel for it). If everything there looks fine then check your fuel system. When was the last time you replaced your fuel filter? If it's been a while then replace it. Your injectors may be plugged. Make sure the fuel pump is turning on, you should hear a buzzing noise when you flick the key on ACC. It's rare that an oil pump goes out since it is the best lubricated part of the engine.
