For severely overweight people, we use the word Obese... but is there a word like that for people who are severely underweight?

Edit: emaciated Original answer: Not that I can think of... (in Engrish anyway...) They would normally just be referred to as underweight or undernourished. Often I hear people referring to them by the disorder that causes the thinness... Yeah there is. But I dont want everyone hating me for using it. It's not very politically correct and therefore im simply not in the mood to be pelted with rocks and garbage.

emaciated - means to look skeletal, very very thin anorexic - if cause is lack of food by choice undernourished - if cause is lack of food for any reason very thin - is the true closest though
