It's generally viewed as a sign of lacking education. It also makes it hard to read posts. This becomes especially irritating when people who can't spell for crap start giving know-it-all answers and being asses. (this is not directed at you, I do not remember you particularly) Get a spell check for whatever browser you use. It will make your posts much easier to read and save you the headache of everyones ridicule.
