• depends. it sounds like you don't have a lot of fat on your legs, but getting cardio exercise will burn fat, and your legs would lose a little fat, and get skinnier. at the same time, you are building muscle, so your legs could increase in size. if you are wanting to build muscle, do some additional leg exercises, or do the elliptical at a higher resistance. it would be reasonable to expect your legs become more toned, but you shouldn't expect a huge difference in size based only on doing the elliptical.
