  • I haven't, because I can't be bothered, I'd rather just go to school, sleep and not have to worry. People who go to my school and are caught playing hookie get kicked out, simple as
  • I got caught more than once. Had conferences with my mother and the principal. I skipped school in the 7th grade over 20 times. Not a good thing to do.
  • i used to do it all the time. I only got caught once, and I lied and said I was sick and thats why I was chilling in the bathroom for 2 periods :D lol. nothing happened
  • I skipped SO much in 9th grade, was able to intercept the letters to home. By the time they caught up to me, I was in pretty deep. At the conference I argued about how school was a waste of my time and I wanted to quit and they ended up begging me to stay and so I did and they were all glad. I DO NOT ENDORSE THIS!
  • I got caught but it wasn't in junior high, it was in senior high school. I got one day of internal suspension. But for you to know the punishment, that is something you'd have to find out from your school. I imagine that every school is different.
  • Here in the province of Alberta it was impossible to even skip in junior high. In senior high however it was all to easy. I just hated my grade 12 math teacher the old bag. I used to chew tabacco and swallow it which made me very sick to my stomach for a couple of hours. I never did get caught but my parents did,nt like my high math class absentee rate. I,m 38 years old now so my advice to you is simple - you may not get caught right away but it will catch up to you eventually so in short - dont do it.
  • My mother got arrested because of my sister always skipping class in 7th grade. They blamed mom because my sister was a minor and not following the compulsory education laws by making sure your kids go to school is considered a form of neglect/child abuse. As a result, mom lost her job that she had been at for ten years and within a year we lost the house and had to move into an apartment in a neighborhood where gangs were always shooting at each other. We survived, but my sister didn't learn her lesson and is now living in a dumpy apartment working for minimum wage and trying to take care of a one-year-old. GO TO SCHOOL, PLEASE. I don't want to sound over dramatic, but this could be you in 5-10 years if you don't.
  • Yes I know the consiquences of skipping school. You are 50 with no abilty to make any real money and have to work at a job you hate to barly make ends meet.Of course not doing much skipping now, skip work, skip check! Lets think here a minute, compare a few years of going to school, boring, hard, a pain, people telling you what to do... and then 50 years of a decent existance. Or a few years of blowing off school and 50 years of misery, You do the math. Listen Honey Ive been where you are and I can tell you, you will never regret showing up. When you watch the rest of the word being something somday and having a nice home and car and more importantly a sense of satisfaction in what they end up doing in life you will know you want that too, but if you blow off school now it may be too late. Take it from me been there done that!
  • I never had the bravery to do it.
  • nope, there's simply no need. i'd probably get in more trouble than it's worth. (from my mom, not the teachers.) and they'd probably give us detentions.
  • I never skipped in junior high (too closely monitored). In high school, I did skip a couple of times. I got a bunch of detentions for it and was grounded for a couple weeks.
  • I never skipped. I went to junior high and made A's, and in 8th, a few B's. I do not recommend skipping. I've never skipped.
