The one that always gets me is names of people, if you picture someone that you know in your head and say their name enough, they almost become nameless. (Not that I do this often or anything) LOL

You can do that with nearly any word if you repeat it enough! Try it with the word black, skate, plate, etc. Almost any word you choose.

If you think that's weird, then how about "luncheon"? But for me the word that sounds weird when repeated a few times is bus. Bus bus bus bus bus bus bus.

You can't possibly imagine how much laughter a similar word elicited back in the forth grade, when someone was reading from a book and mispronounced "much" as "munch". There was "munch laughter". So munch, that I nearly lost my lunch. ;-) I think that most of us quit laughing by the sixth grade.
