Victoria Holt - ANY book this woman has written I have read kept me turning the pages, I finished in a day even though I got done at 3am - drama, romance, suspense, and some murder to get the plot going. She is a marvel of the literary world, I love this author!!!

I think you will love the novels by Jane Austen; however, you may lose your appreciation for average fiction after discovering the literary heights made possible by a master. For your consideration: Pride and Prejudice Sense and Sensibility Emma Persuasion Obviously these are not recent novels, but I have a feeling you will find yourself living in her time when you read them.
