  • There are a couple different ways of throwing stuff on your PS3. If you have an MP3 player that lets you pull tracks directly off it (e.g. a non-iPod), you can just highlight the tracks or folder, press Triangle and select the copy option. Converting from CDs is even easier. Just pop the disc in, highlight the CD and again, press Triangle. You should get options for copying the tracks over (this actually takes a few minutes), though don't forget to grab the CD info first (also from the Triangle menu) if your PS3 is hooked up online. If you just want to do a straight copy, using a USB thumb drive or loading them onto a MemoryStick/Compact Flash card/Secure Digital card (if you have the high-end PS3 with slots for that) is as easy as plugging them in, going to the music section of the XMB (the main PS3 interface) and, you guessed it, hitting Triangle to copy the files over. A couple of caveats, though: one, you'll need to make sure any drive you connect via USB is formatted as a FAT32 drive. Second, unless all the files or folders are dropped into a folder named "Music" that's in ANOTHER folder titled "PS3", you'll have to press the Triangle button and select "View All" to see your files. Happy listening!
  • how do you covert a usb over to the fat32?? i've tried just plugging a usb into my ps3 and it says the files are corrupt, it did however grab the one file that was not locked as far as the ipod goes. can you only put music files on that are unlocked in itunes?? because everything you pay for on itunes comes locked. please explain with as much detail as possible, i'm completly confussed. thank you
  • Just download a program called TVersity to your PC, you can stream music, films even websites to your PS3 as well as copy music etc etc its an amazing program and totally free!
  • where do you get this TVersity?
  • you need a UBS cord and you upload from limewire then you put it to the hole in it
  • go to www.airmp3.net and type in the song or artist and go to download.
  • If you have a wireless network you can share the files and then access them on your ps3. No downloading any programs and no cords either.
  • use a thumb drive
