  • All the time dear. Its know as 'thats life'
  • yes it happens. but sometimes we are doing it the wrong way. try changin the way first before losing hope. goodluck
  • Unfortunately there are some things that no matter how hard you try at them just dont work out. Sorry dear.
  • Sometimes it seems that way, and that can be awfully discouraging, I know. It helps to remember that sometimes things look like they've worked out one way, but a few days from now, things may look different. Reality is sometimes different than it looks. Situations aren't always what they seem to be at face value. Here's an example: Let's say you're looking for a job and you've applied at two different places. Job #1 sounds like the better deal - twice the money, nicer facility, whatever. The interview went well, you got your hopes up, but in the end, they chose another applicant. You suck it up and take job #2, a position for which you're overqualified and underpaid, but at least it keeps you off the streets, right? This is the part where things look like they didn't work out. A month later, you pick up the paper and read that the president/owner of the job #1 company pulled all the money out of the company's bank accounts and ran off to the Bahamas with the head of the accounting department to lie on the beach and drink margaritas all day. All the employees at company #1 have no jobs. Suddenly, the allure of job #1 fades. You boss calls you in and says, "kdawg1, I knew you were overqualified for this job when I hired you, but quite frankly, we didn't have a position worthy of your talents at the time. But now, the Butthead Company (job #1) has folded and we're getting all their business. I've just been authorized to create a new department and I'm putting you in charge. Congratulations!" What looked like a situation of "things not working out" was merely a middle step in the process of "things working out much better than you could have foreseen at the time you foresaw." Don't give up hope for something better. Life turns on a dime.
  • Of course that is true and the result's are how we handle the situtation -- Take a deep breathe and stay positvely focused -- Lot's of luck to you
  • Yes, and it may seem horrible...but it makes it that much better when things DO work out.
