I am planning on buying a website template for my brochure website ("About Me", "Contact Me", "My Services", etc..) Should I buy one template or *subscribe* to these sites for unlimited access? the latter seems like a better value, no?

With computers, I've never found it better to buy for the future. Buy what you need right now and expect you can find better for less in the future. I would expect that you will get your template and then learn to modify the css for yourself anyway. Why would you want a template for anything more than a starting place? Just my 2 cents.

I personaly would write it myself or use one of the templates involved with Frontpage or Publisher. But if your going to buy one think about what your going to use it for, how often its going to be updated, how much you plan on learning about it.. Learning to build websites is time consuming but once you've learned it is much more rewarding and much cheaper in the long run. Also by learning to write it you will learn about it and therfore beable to customize it to make it a nice clean great looking site... If I were you I would hit the books and watch tutorials on youtube.
