  • Eat whatever's next to you, some paper or something for strength, then go to the kitchen. I once drank out of the iron because I had a hangover and I couldn't get up, the iron was the only thing that had water in it at arms reach.
  • Maybe you should crawl...
  • get up slowly and slowly walk to your kitchen. get sometging you can eat immediately from yuor fridge with no preparation time to nourish yourself.
  • Get up and go eat something NOW. Do NOT allow your FEAR of ending up on the floor to override your common sense, RFlagg. Put your feet on the floor, march yourself into that kitchen and stuff your face. NOW!
  • Since the hunger crisis seems to have been averted, let me give you some suggestions so you won't get into this situation again. If I recall correctly from another question, you seem to have some hypoglycemic tendencies. One of the best ways of taking care of yourself is to eat on a regular schedule. Before I started doing this, I was so bad that I almost froze to death one winter because my blood sugar was so low I couldn't think straight. I started a strict schedule that helped immensely. Before I even get out of bed - eat 3/4 cup yogurt Immediately after getting up - eat breakfast 1 1/2 hours after breakfast - 1st snack 1 1/2 hours after 1st snack - 2nd snack 1 1/2 hours after 2nd snack - lunch 2 hours after lunch - 3rd snack 2 hours after 3rd snack - 4th snack 2 hours after 4th snack - dinner Before I go to sleep - eat 3/4 cup yogurt I usually carry some almonds with me for an emergency snack if I'm away from home longer than I expect. I got a Casio Pathfinder watch because the five vibrating alarms help me stay on schedule but aren't disruptive. There are many other watches with multiple audible alarms. This may seem a little extreme but it might be worth trying for a week or two to see how you feel. I was very, very sick for three years and this schedule plus cutting out all sugar gave me my health and my life back.
