Do you bury your pets in a pet cemetery or in your back yard?

I scattered Rio's ashes along the banks of the river where I found her :(

In the backyard. I made a little grave stone for my cat that died 8 years ago.

I had my last dog cremated and i scattered his ashes in the woods where i used to walk him:)

Backyard, but to my cat we put him to sleep and left him there.

we live in the middle of a 30 acre woods so we've buried our dogs in our woods and planted flowers around them

Usually I just have the vet cremate them. No use in hanging on to the body, really. Oh, unless they're fish. Then I bury the poor little things in my city's sewer system. I hate when my animals die. :(

I am so impressed with the way the folks that already answered laid their pets to rest. It's so nice to see so many thoughtful and loving pet owners. We haven't had a dog in a long time, but buried ours in our backyard. If we have another and the time comes to lay it to rest, I hope to treat my pet with as much love as I've read here.
