  • Ah grow up! : )
  • Guess what? I'm 27 myself and I have thought the exact same thing! My advice is to think about all that you have gained in recent years in terms of experience. What you lose in youth you gain in wisdom so IMHO it's a fair trade. Don't think about your life as a number- just live it the way you were meant to!
  • There's a difference between your developmental age and your chronological age -- when we hear numbers like 30, 40, and 50, it triggers a lot of associations and memories of what those numbers "mean" about a person. These ideas and images are conditioned responses, like Pavlov's dog salivating. In other words, it means nothing about you specifically. Your level of development, maturity (and decay!) are unique to you. You find out if you're old by observing yourself and your life.
  • Christ get a life.
  • yeah you are still young, relax!
  • You're older than you once were, and younger than you'll be. Thanks for the laugh. Go ahead and freak out, because 40 will be here before you know it, kid.
  • Seeing old people is not so funny anymore is it? Especially when they start giving you the eye
  • Its nothing to worry about i freaked out on my last nite of being in my twenty's but i realize i now get more respect now in my thirty's. im 31 now im doing great
  • Start a healthy skin regime now!!
  • The thirties have been the best years of my life!
  • I have even worse and more scary news for you: in 13 years you'll be 40; in 23 years you'll be 53 and every 13 years you'll be...well...13 years older
  • I remember feeling that way at your age. The good news is that this feeling lessens the older you get. What you will find, hopefully, is that maturity will make life easier. Take care of yourself, and you will remain physically active and able to enjoy life more and more as you mature. :)
