Actually, even though the points are fun...for me, answering the questions are fun too. So no, I don't hate it, but the points are great to get!

If points were my only motivation to answer questions, I would have left Answerbag a long time ago. I have more than 4,400 answers that don't even have 1 point. So no, I don't hate it.
