Is there any point in confronting an ungrateful person about their behaviour? I mean, if they take everything people do for them for granted, are they too selfish to get through to?

The few times I've tried it, it hasn't done a bit of good. One person was nicer for a very short period of time, but quickly went back to his old ways.

It has been my experience that these people understand fully what they are doing but don't care about anyone but themselves so trying to get through to them is a waste of time. They like who they are and won't change for you or anyone else.

It isn't worth it from my experience. For those individuals, I avoid putting myself in situations where I can be used, and if they need a favor I play by their game. I will find a way to get something out it before I put forth any effort on my part.

they are too deep set in thier ways, it would take words from many people to make any impact.
