Frequently, I'm using the Freeware version of Limewire, it suits my needs and my Grandaughter (15yrs)is downloading from Limewire every time she visits.

how will u know if it is legal anyway? unless ul see a thingy that will ask u for a license but most song i find are hassle free.. is that illegal? :|

Yes, I use Limewre. I find that Itunes just doesnt have a very good choice of tunes, whereas Limewirehas everything imaginable.

Well I went through a Limewire phase until guilt caught up with me and I deleted all my illegally acquired music. I now use Itunes to download singles and visit the high street shops to buy albums. It is essential that the sale of physical discs continues, because the alternative is that all music will be copy protected in the future - which will mean that the friendly, casual practice of borrowing a mate's CD will be impossible. It is illegal to copy your friend's music onto your computer but I like to think that this is a not very sinister form of theft, which doesn't affect the music market as much as the massive peer to peer file sharing networks do.

Yes all the time I have been members of all the download sites as far back as Audio Galaxy which I think was the best. Then WinMX I have the Limewire that i had to pay for at the moment and I am not impressed

I download/purchase songs from Rhapsody.com. It works fine and you don't have to worry about viruses and other PC problems that may result from downloading from strange places...

if by internet you mean like limewire then yes. i use the free version of limewire and i also use a thing called bittorrent which is really good

Yeah, I used to use limewire to download all my music and movies, but then i found Azureus used along side www.thepiratebay.org worked alot better. haha not to sound like an advertiser.

Yep sure have but had to pay for it. But it so slow downloading. A friend suggested Limewire for free. So had to give it a go.
