I haven't..don't know anything about the intricacies or benefits of it. However, it seems a little self-indulgent to me, as well as expensive. If you have had one/some, what are the benefits? Anything long -lasting or just a temporary kinda nice thing to do for yourself? :)

- Thanks Rosie...yes it can be very expensive but it is rather under-rated...it works very well...but would needs consideration is the experiance and reputation of the therapist as it can become very dangerous (toxic)!!

- You're welcome, Crystal. "Very expensive" is not in our budget, sadly. Maybe one day if we win the Lotto, after we buy the Condo in Honolulu I might just try one! If so, I'll ask you to recommend someone..don't want to set myself up for health problems! :) ((hugs))

Yes, I've had aromatherapy done by my husband who is a massage therapist and I've had the Raindrops massage session, with all the different drops on the body, in a specific order.

Multiple times, my hubby gave me massages with aromatic oils. he's really good at that! ;)

My sister is a massage therapist.
I was lucky enough to be her guinea pig when she was training so yes, I have had many aromatherapy massages.

Yes, my wife and I run an aromatherapy oils website, and we've tried many of these products ourselves over the past couple of years.

The one I find most effective is Head Soothe, for headaches, but my wife finds that many of them are very good (e.g. Nausea, Sinus, Mega Heart).

- No, we are not - we simply re-sell them via our website. We'd like to take a course, but finding time is difficult for us.

Not sure what all went on but I closed my eyes and when it was done I felt like a bowl of jello. Didn't seem to have the stuffy head I get with a sports massage. I also didn't feel like the masseuse was tenderizing a side of beef.

Yes I have and love it, I have this de-stress massage oil, that is made with eucalyptus, to calm you.

Yes. I have also treated, but aromatherapy is a science and to achieve accurate results and know exactly what you are doing you need to have a degree in chemistry at the very least!

- Oh I agree becci...I am qualified to give treatments too and your right....you need to have a degree of knowledge in chemistry....I think Aromatherapy is under-rated though!!!

- Its very under rated and its also wholly dangerous if you don't knwo what you are doing - along with reflexology which is why I stopped practising.
  
  The more I understood, the less I realised I knew about it. All the interactions of the different plant chemicals together can create havoc, nevermind mixed with peoples medication as it is a transdermal medication at the end of the day.
  
  It does however have huge benefits and the massage itself combined with the movement of chi around the body has yet unresearched/ unproven benefits for patients.
