call me old fashioned but thats just not happening. lol
-
she would be my adopted daughter but even then heck no! you know what? i'd crawl right in the middle and be like, "so what are we watching?" ha!
-
I honestly wouldn't have a problem with it.
-
Because of that last part the answer would be a HELL NO!!! In my house, any tv watching by my kids would be watched in the living room on the couch, with clothes on, sitting on their ass.
-
Only if I was sitting beside him cleaning my gun.
-
Only if I'm lying in between them.................and as long as he doesnt want to use my shoulder as a pillow.
-
In bed NO... on the sofa with others around, no problem.
-
I say doors open and parental supervision!! They can lay wherever they want as long as it is open so you can see!! I am 18 so I am kinda close and understand your worries also!! You got to give them some room but definitely be there to watch just in case!!
-
on top of the blankets, doors open and yes adult supervision. Other than that.....nope.
-
That would never fly in my house. The only males who could be on my bed were family members and close family friends. I think you know, for obvious reasons, why some would feel uncomfortable about it. Its best to let them stay in the living room and watch a movie (and even then, if he's over-confident, he'll still try to make a move on her.
-
So what everyone is saying they don't trust their children...in this case their daughter. Listen if they are going to have sex they are going to do it anyway some where and you won't stop them. You should instead teach them how to have good sex and safer sex. Yeah you won't like my answer but that is OK with me because you know I am telling the truth.
-
Nope wouldnt bother me.
-
Yes, if I'm lying in between them.
-
I'm in in the living room in view of the bed room cleaning my gun collection, sure.
-
As long as their not naked. No. I'd have to be there, or at least turn the camera on I have hidden in her cieling fan. ;+
-
no way. that would not ever happen in my house.
-
No way!! If they want to watch a movie, they can watch in the family room or livingroom or garage, but not in a bedroom. I have a son and when he was 16 I would NOT have been pleased to hear that his girlfriend's parents allowed them to do that in their home!!
-
yes
-
No.
-
as long as the door is open, and they're not underneath covers
-
Hell no! I was young once, and I'm no fool. I'm not against kids figuring out sex around that age, but they're going to have to hide it pretty well, lest I should SMITE that boy.
-
IN her bed no.
-
honestly my younger brother is 18 but i still dont think he should be having sex bcuz there is no way he or his girlfriend are ready for a child but unfortunatly kids these days in school are not properly educated till 10th grade and by then most have had sex or have faced enough peer pressure to have sex that they are determined i think the best thing to do is to encourage abstinence at a young age but since you prob didnt do that i would suggest making it a point to enforce strict rules about when and where the boyfriend is allowed to go and if/when she allows him to break said rules be sure to follow thru harshly dont be all talk. and i guess from all this you can guess my opinion on your 16yr old in bed "watching a movie" bcuz no matter what they say they are going to at the very least attempt something more than that and if you still decide to let them "watch a movie" then i would suggest that you sneak up and knock on the door a couple of times during the movie.
-
only if you were comfortable knowing they were having sex. ;/
-
Not everything is as wrong as you look. If its innocent and the door is open, I see no problem in it.
-
with the door opened or closed?
-
Well that all depends. Does the kid understand what i would do to him if he tried anything on my daughter? Situations like that build trust between parent and siblings. If you trust the way you raised your daughter, then you shouldnt have a problem with the door being closed.
-
No, they can watch movies on the couch just as easily.
-
Is the couch broke? Is there a gaping hole in the floor in front of the tv? Then, hell no!
-
No. Why does it have to be in the bed? What's wrong with a couch?
-
Not unless the boyfriend wants to be a John Bobbit & my daughter wants to wear a chastity belt. And NO, I'm not kidding
-
No
-
HELLO??? Sixteen year old girls should be kept far away from beds when the boyfriend is around. If you permit this you are either asking for trouble or admitting that you already have it.
-
How could anyone even ask this question? NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. I have 2 daughters ages 24 and 17. Male visitors are not allowed in their bedrooms for any reason -- okay....I have made the exception for my oldest daughter's husband, but only since they have been married. When they visit, I do let him visit her room.
-
LOL! I'll give you one guess what my answer would be... :)
-
That would be a no.
-
noooo of course not!!
