  • Didnt see it...never watch them...not into politics at all...yeah i know im no help
  • Which president?Make it a little clear
  • I'm with Twistiburger. I didn't watch it. Not into politics really. I might have watched that one since it was on the Iraq War but I honestly forgot it was even going to be on. What did he end up saying?
  • i only heard the thing about ''mistakes'',on radio....
  • I thought it was a good speach. He spoke of the mistakes made, and, perhaps more importantly, took credit for them. He also gave an outline of the new stategy of incresing troop levels in the really troubled areas like Bagdad. The people there, although they don't like the occupation of American troops, have made it clear that their presence in the streets does tend to keep things calm. Maliki has a promising diplomacy tactic, as well, in regards to ending sectarian violence. I hope all this works, 'cause, I don't know about you all, but I'm getting fed up with the whole thing. I want our soldiers home. Not, like in Vietnam, to come back only to have learned that the lives lost over there were for naught, but like returning heros in an impossible effort.
  • Didn't watch it, I figured he would be saying the same ol' crap he always says. Nothing new, unless I missed something?
  • I thought it was atrocious. He is by far the worst public speaker I've watched ever. He was very obviously relying upon the teleprompter heavily and stumbling over simple words. His heart was (kind of) in the right place, but I never agreed with putting troops in Iraq in the first place.
  • I think he is using the power of his position, his authority, and his pride, he is not thinking aboutusing common sense for the people of America. The president of the United States is standing his political grounds, this is not about politics, it is about the well being of the United States and our troops. He stated that what ever decision he makes will be his responsibility. I want to know what does that mean? we the United States will have to deal with the consequences of his non-compromising decisions made. We may have to take responsibility of our own lives in the near future.
  • I didn't watch it. I hear enough blah blah at work during the day.
  • As requested, second answer to this question: President's speech...same old, same old. Still blundering like an ape reading Shakespeare.
  • It was funny as hell! I was practicaly rolling on the floor laughing all during it, but the speach it's self was'nt half as funny as the headline in the paper this morning "Bush admits mistakes, will send more troupes." The guy's a horrible president, but he's funny as hell when he tries to do speeches.
