Some people get hung up on old folklore and urban legends. They hear a story and never bother to check and see if it is real. They accept it as fact and feel the need to tell the world. Makes you wonder if they know they are allowed to step outside the box and think before they speak.

Ginger seems to be England's blacks. Gingers are associated with Ireland more than any other place, I guess that's why they claim not to like them. Fine with me! Redheads are killer beautiful. I'll take em all!

I had to look at the other answers to figure out what "ginger" was... red-head. There's nothing wrong with red-heads. I don't see what difference it would make but I don't have your UK background. It seem ridiculous.

I never knew such a name existed for a red-headed baby!!We don't have that term where I live. Red heads, black, brown, or blonde are all gorgeous!

Nothing is wrong with it. I'm a 'ginger'...I love my red/blonde hair. And I turned out pretty good if I must say so myself :)

I had never heard of folks talking about someone being "ginger" before. It's hard for me to understand why someone would be opposed to red hair ... or any hair or skin color. I had hoped we all would be much more accepting of all people by this time...but I guess that's just wishful thinking.
