Many times, if you are in a good standing with the mortgage lender you are currently with, may streamline the mortgage you are in. If you call and ask, and they say no, you are not in any worse off situation than you were before you started. I think it would be worth the call. If not, the non conforming will detract value slightly. You should be able to get a copy of the appraisal you had done to see how much the appraiser deducted for these features.Good luck to you :)
