  • I wish i was a good cook im not! But i did try from scratch a few days ago! I sauted onions and green peppers with maple sausage. Added cooked mushrooms salt and pepper. Then mixed it with cooked nodles!

  • I do - everything from soups to jams to hotpots - anything. I work extensive hours so people who say it's too time consuming I don't really understand. For me cooking is therapeutic and I like the fact that I know exactly what I'm eating. My bf loves my cooking and says it's the best (my Mom used to be a chef so I've grown up cooking) but he prefers McDonalds. He was not raised on 'home-cooked' food so I guess it's what you are used to. I do however find it can be costly cooking from scratch - I usually cook and freeze huge batch loads to help with this.

As I type, I'm cooking red potatoes for hot german potato salad, serving it with hot & spicy bbq chichen, and diced bacon with fresh green beans and pearl onions...just the two of us today, lunch will be small. I must say, with overwhelming confidence, (please forgive me), I do make the best home-made tomato soup ever...my grandma taught me. If you want the how-too, let me know. I'll be happy to share. My son says I'm the junk food queen of the world! ??? But he does know where to eat...at mom's !!!
  • I always seem to end up with fusion cooking. Not fusion in the defined sense, but I call it that because when I'm finished in the kitchen, it looks like a fusion bomb detonated there.
