If you BOTH want to do that, and adjust to last minute changes on the plans then yes. I doubt you want to have an urn of grannie at the wedding, so you might as well try & have her attend, in human form if you can. One issue you might have to think about is whether she feels up to traveling, if she's that ill a the thought of going out may not appeal to her. Congrats on the engagement! :)

Congrats on the engagement, but in your shoes I would spend the time and energy making sure she knows she is loved. I wouldn't move my wedding day forward, that has to be the day that is right for both of you IMnotsoHO.

I think it would be a very thoughtful thing to have the wedding in advance and include your grandmother. My grandfather died about a month before my sister's wedding and she was really upset that he didn't make it.
