If you know you're having twins, then surely you've had a scan and thus know whether the babies are in your uterus or some alternate part of your anatomy. If there is a foetus/embryo in your fallopian tube, it's called an ectopic pregnancy. That means if you let it stay there, YOU would likely die anyway. So... if that's the case, then yes, I'm afraid it would likely not survive regardless of who cuts what. I suggest you buy yourself a book on pregnancy or browse the web if you're thinking about getting pregnant or already are.

depends on the type of twins an identical twin or twin that came from the same egg would be found typically in the same area. If your talking about twins who are from separate eggs than yes that could be a possibility. im no Dr. though

If you are having twins, you have a high-risk pregnancy and should be under the care of a specialist in multiple births. You should ask these question of this doctor. BTW, why would you need a tube cut? Or are you thinking ahead in case one is ectopic ?
