  • She needs to see a vet. If you can't get her into a carrier, see if you can't try to get someone to drive you to the vet while you hold her (as long as you think she'd behave that way) Otherwise, you'll have to get her into the carrier, as much as she won't like it.
  • Correct. Your kitty really needs to be seen by a vet. These are signs and symptoms of deterioration of an older cat. If she is drinking more and eating less this is also a sign. If you are having a hard time getting her into her carrier, try wrapping a towel over her head and placing her in a box with a lid. Sometimes this alleviates stress on the kitty. If you have more than yourself to ride in the car, it may help to soothe her by talking to her the entire way to the vet's office.
