No, I have seen some hot guys who I thought OMG I love to be with but after getting to know them knew it looked too good to be true.

I think I've fooled myself into thinking so at times, but it never panned out.

This will sound crazy but the first time I met my husband I told him I was going to marry him. He laughed and told me he was not going to get married for a long, long time. I was 18 and he was 21. I met his uncle a few weeks later and I told him I was gong to marry his nephew. I don't know if what I felt for him was love at first sight. I would say it was more of a feeling of having come home or a sense of belonging. I knew we were meant to be together. We married five years later and we will celebrate our 25th anniversary this July.

Yes, frequently. I just recently learned how to control it, sort of. Took me long enough, but it's been fun. Much better than having no sense of passion or romance at all. My advice is to enjoy it when it happens, but know when to not take it seriously. After all, it's just a Harley.

Once, in college, the instant I first saw her. It wasn't anything like a normal attraction (and she wasn't "pretty" by most people's standards, and she thought she was ugly, and carried herself that way... not that I at all need(ed) to only be with "pretty" females... jeez what a tangent). It also wasn't like a feeling of "Wow she looks real nice, I just know I'd like to get to know her." It was just this instantaneous electric-feeling laser-like focus. I don't particularly believe in reincarnation, but Drexl's comment expresses my feelings too. It was weird.

Yes. One time I did. It was frightening because it was such a powerful feeling. Made me believe more in reincarnation because, I was sure I must have known her before somehow, someway.

When I met my husband I knew within the first five minutes of speaking to him that he was my family. It was like I'd known him my whole life. I can't explain it really. Yes, I do.

No. The feeling of first site is a crush.

LOVE can be developed from a crush, but it takes TIME. It's not an overnight deal.

I hate to be a Negative Nelly but NO and NO if you are talking about a romantic love. If you are talking about the first time a mother or father sees her or his child after being born, then yes and most definitly. Although, I do not have any children of my own yet, I have experienced this with my nephew when he was born and when I went to go pick out my "pug-baby". Now, THAT was love at first sight! LOL

No, I think many people mistake lust at first sight for love at first sight. Love is something that develops over time. I have no idea how it could just spontaneously appear on eye contact with anyone.

yes, but a year after we had been dating she cheated on me and got pregnant, so there is a lot more that goes with it than just the emotional connection. Love is something you have to work at, no matter how much attraction there is there and how much you have in common.

By the way, I left her and a couple years later found someone else and got married, and am very happy with that relationship (although my wife and I were not really attracted to each other when we first met, but the relationship developed because of the effort that we put into it).

no, i have never experienced love at first sight and I dont believe in it. I believe that if your seriously in love with someone at first sight ur extremeley shallow yeah looks matter but the thing that enhances the looks is the personality...that matters more to me.

You actually need to know someone first, before you can fall in love with them.
You can not fall in love by appearance alone. That is only lust.
