  • This happens with everyone of us in the transision to death and onwards. 'Experience' could also mean that someone can give a 'report' of it. Mainly pepole who had Near Death Experiences (NDE) can give such 'reports'. Those who was willing to shear their experiences, were recorded in some books. What is it? Your evelasitng spirit leaves your body and most reports describes 'looking down from ceiling hight onto their own body on a hospital bed' and can discribe all (or most) that happen. When they are 'resuscitated', they (spirit) return to their boddies. Some dicribe seeing (and moving into) a tunnel with a light at the end. [simmilar to the proverb]. It appears that there are no(?) book(s) with reports on people experience being burning by flames.(Hell). Though one clergyman (far out on farm in South Africa) shouted 'I am burning, I am burning, help me!!' A pastor was with him and prayed for him.... Another pastor 'dieded=NDE' and found him talking to Jesus! Short story = Jesus gave him the option to go back into his cruched body, he will recover and gain many more soul for God's Kingdom! Another experience: Read 'Devine Revelation of Heaven' (10 nights)and 'Devine Revelation of Hell' (30 nights) by Mary Baxter. 2Co 12:2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. There could be many more... God Bless.
  • There is a lot of information on this and about the related phenomena that different individuals experience and why they experience those phenomena. This is a relatively brief answer and doesn't cover everything there is to know about it. Plus, I don't know everything there is to know about it. However, there are some points which I am certain on. I know this from personal experience and through the personal experiences from many of my friends. Being out of the body is a very real and certain thing. An out of body experience is just that. A person becomes or is exterior to the body and assumes viewpoints from other than within the body. An individual is a spiritual being and inhabits (or does not inhabit) a body. The spirit has certain qualities and abilities. An individual may go exterior due to trauma or just may naturally go exterior. It can very pleasant being exterior to the body...and sometimes a lot of fun. Actually, every individual has done it because the individual is a spiritual entity and has occupied a variety of different bodies through the ages. Many people can recall some of these times of previous lives. Sometimes an individual will just go exterior to the body; that is, be three feet back of their head or maybe down the hall or at some other location. Perceptions are different for different individuals. Different individuals are more "pinned" into the body than others. Children sometimes easily experience this exteriorization but may have difficulty explaining it, (especially to a skeptical adult). There are a variety of things which inhibit one from going exterior to the body. The sensation of leaving a body is often one of relief or of being separated from certain pressures. In other words, it can be very pleasant. At this time there are relatively few who can be stably outside the body on their on volition. When the body gives out and a human dies, the individual leaves the body. This losing a body can be rough on an individual. All that "investment" has gone to trash. So, you can just imagine how many times an individual has lost their body and any "reminder" could restimulate these previous deaths. There usually is pain associated with a death. These past deaths can be inhibiting to an out of body experience. When the body is under a lot of duress, an individual may leave it. What the individual experiences at that time in their out of body experience can vary. There are reasons why a person may see the bright light or an image. There are many, many, many stories of people who have "died" or were unconscious, had the out of body experience, and then were revived. One of the things which a spirit does is to "carry" mental masses (or junk). The loss of weight (approximately 1 to 2 ounces) can be measured when a person leaves a body at the moment of death. As a matter of clarification: the aura or "astral projection" or some other occurances are something other than "out of body experiences". In other words, these phenomena are a result of some of the things a spirit does. These phenomena are not the spirit. The spirit is you, the individual. You can sometimes help revive a person who has just died. If you are with a person who has just died, but their body is okay...try this: Touch and release their hand repeatedly and gently, while telling them to get back into the body. Reassure them that the body is okay. Tell the individual that his or her help is needed by people. Different people need him or her. In other words, say: "Look, your kids, Sally and John really need you around to help them...." You can always write me if there is a question on this.
  • An out of body experience is not really out of body at all. Every human being and living creature on the face of the earth has an aura. An aura is the energy that radiates around your chi (buddism), or core being. For example; have you ever been at the mall, and sensed that someone was watching you? or looked at someone and wanted to exchange words with them? Like you had somthing you wanted to ask someone but just couldnt figure out how to approach a stranger? Or when your walking down the street and you steer away from some people, but are drawn to others? Your Aura be it negative or positive is interacting with the - and + aura's around your being as well as others. Its kind of like, the human body's spider sense you could say. For example, when your sleeping your sub concious collates the days events and you have REM dream state sleep. But whats even deeper below the subconcious state is your supraconcious mind. It is so sensitive, it can register and be aware of your next door neighbor snoring down the block. Whether your concious mind realizes it or not. Think of the human body as an antenna, just because your picking up one set of radio waves doesnt mean your not picking up the other. Very few of us are able to tap into the supraconcious and its all knowing wisdom, those who can, are dubbed as psychics. In order to have an out of body experience, you need to be more in touch with your supraconcious mind. This is difficult to achieve as man has not yet reached that state of evolution yet, but metaphysicist say we are heading in that direction. When you die, your brain is starving for oxygen as the cells begin to starve and perish. The synapses in your brain fire off everywhere trying to get the other cells to kick start your body so it starts breathing again. The brain then kicks into overdrive and euphoria, using all its instincts of survival including the primitive side, going so far as to activate the supraconcious part of the brain, located near and around the pituitary gland. This gives your brain one last look around at what is happening around the your body(ie; NDE). What happens to your energy and soul after that is a mystery and is still in debate.
