  • Because of trolls. They are narrow-minded and do not accept your opinion.
  • one word, TROLLS!!! dam them!!! supid people who cant get points so they rate everyone else down in a feeble atempt to make themselves feel better.
  • Good question! The same thing has been happening to me! It's so dissapointing.
  • Watch out the trolls are everywhere. one just downrated the question. Why? its an honest question and it makes sense. Im going to quit answerbag.
  • Oh God, no, don't quit AnswerBag. I tried it and then I kept thinking "Wow, I probably look like the weakest jackass because I can't take a couple of little negatives" and now I feel like one because I "quit" and ended up coming back, like I said I wasn't going to, or didn't think I would. Don't let it get under your skin. People are jerks. If I ever encounter a negatively rated answer, and I find it to be un-offensive, I give points, because I figure I am worth about 5 trolls now, so might as well try and help out some. I figure what goes around comes around just the same.
  • cause offensive is the way to go honesty is over rated
  • Who can predict human behavior. These 'trolls' we speak of may have a variety of motives. They may have a bone to pick with you based on some questions or answers you provided that they did not like. They may be feeling naughty and just downgrading for the heck of it. Just ignore them. If you keep at Answerbag, eventually, your worth or lack of helpfullness will reveal itself in your overall rating. Trolls don't stalk for that long. They're more like a cold. They can stick around for a while, but eventually they go away.
