I have never smoked, but I love coffee. I imagine that the caffeine jolt would be similar to nicotine's effects, so I bet it's easy to get very addicted to both.

I had a heart attack when I was 45, so now I'm not allowed either.
Nor anything esle with caffeine in.
Nor wine.
Nor more than 70 grammes of fat a day total.
To be honest I couldnt think or move without coffee, but I couldn't climb down off the ceiling without a cigarette and I'd smoke even with a stinking cold, so I'd say ciggies definitely had the stronger hold.

WAY more addicted to nicotine.
Even though I have (once again) quit smoking, I know from previous addictions that I will be addicted to nicotine for the rest of my life... I hate that about me. So PLEASE, if you are reading this and do not smoke or have just started... quit! quit! quit!!!

I don't smoke. I tried it when I was 10 and almost threw up. Since throwing up is not my thing, I never tried it again. I do love my two cups of coffee each morning. Yesterday I had a blood test, for which I had to fast. I was not a happy camper...but I did take a thermos of coffee along and after the bloodtest when I got in the car I poured myself a cup...delicious! :) Happy Thursday! :)

Dont drink coffee but smoke. But I dont consider it being an addiction since I can quit cold turkey any time I want. I quit ever other year or so for at least 6 months...but I always seem to start back up...Maybe it is addictive after all.
